Looking first at wordpress.com. Templates says it all. The ability to follow the standard route can create the desired outcome in just a few hours over a couple of days. These blogs are the closest to a website you can get for your small business or organization. This is highest recommended way to go for the beginner as well as the individual entrepeneur.
There is also the wordpress.org blog which is installed locally on your own computer. It is powerful to say the least. It is in-depth as well, offering a list of services to enhance your blog, yourself and your business. This will be talked about again soon after the seminar mentioned above on May 15, 2010.
Now on to the next one that can be stated in two words Google Blogger. Here your blog is under the umbrella of the biggest search engine on the planet. Once you post your blog it is searchable and even put into the channels to help it gain exposure, especially if it about a hot topic. A suggestion is to frequently put relevant references to hot topics every so often when your able on any of your web content.
It would be very easy to continue going into further detail of blogging with an established blogging platform, but suddenly there is a quick and easy option that is reaching hundreds of millions of users daily. That would be Twitter. Plain simple, and can be used to link up with most of your other sites. Earlier mentioned was the cloud, and now stating the ability to link to other services. These two abilities are what is to come. Soon all of these services will be rolled up into one in several ways, then they will expand on what they are essentially now.
To mention the other ways to spread the word are the social networks, and their blogs. Your friends in your network are the best way to get a response to what being done and even feedback on better ways to do it.
